is well received by the members. Your valuable suggestions
for the improvement of the content of the e.newsletter
will be greatly appreciated. Kindly encourage your friends

facilitate improved reach to the members.
The campus interview in Chennai on 22nd and 23rd September
2007 was proved to be a real success. Around two hundred
students across the southern region participated. Most
of them have been selected for hefty salaries by the
major corporates and renowned consultancy firms. It
is indeed heartening that freshly qualified students
of the institute draw great demand from industries.
The first ever Center of Excellence of our institute
is being coming up in south, in the fast growing cyber
city. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara
Reddy laid the foundation stone for the building in
the financial District of Hyderabad on 18th October
2007.
The Regional Cost Convention in Cochin was marked by
wide media visibility, extensive participation and rich
technical content of contemporary relevance. The two-day
event, which attracted around 330 delegates, discussed
the theme “Management Accounting - Driving Stakeholders
Value”. The presence of the entire Central Council Members
provided added significance to the convention. Let me
thank everyone who extended support to this mega event.
Once again I wish to remind you of the importance of
the first ever ‘Global Summit of Management Accountants’
at New Delhi on 10 -12th January 2008. Let us all strive
hard to uphold the name and fame of the institute by
making it a grand success.
